Argyle Street Collective is a Non-profit Economic Development and Cultural Community Organization. We create thriving commercial ecosystems by accelerating businesses, organizations, and families that preserve culture and community. We provide space and opportunities for the arts to flourish so that commercial activities are activated and reflect the community at large.
Argyle Street Collective empowers communities by enriching Asia on Argyle’s cultural equity through art & business. Argyle Street Collective is an ecosystem of interconnected mutually-supporting programs. By providing economic opportunities for local businesses, platforms for artists, and creating spaces with community leaders, Argyle Collective Creative nurtures the synergy for business & cultural collaboration.
Mission:
Our mission is to create an inclusive, collaborative creative space on Argyle Street for Southeast Asian and BIPOC artists, creative entrepreneurs, cultural producers, and generational familes to share their stories, talents, creative expression while also providing the historic corridor with a catalytic, community anchor to sustain the cultural identity of the area.
Vision:
We envision a revival of Southeast Asian culture in the Asia on Argyle Corridor through place-based culturally relevant programming that draws the bridge between multi-generational community members, elicits cross cultural collaborations of artists, creative entrepreneurs, and cultural producers in order to create a strong, sustainable, thriving neighborhood into the future.
